Alecto Recruitment are currently working with a Large Recycling Company in their pursuit for a new Electrical Technician.
We are currently looking for an Electrical Technician with relevant experience to work on a day and night shift basis within a Materials Recycling Facility in North London.
Job Brief
To support the Engineering Team with all Operational Electrical Engineering.
During this role, you will be required to;
- Work alongside a shift team of skilled workers during shifts.
- Provide advice and expertise on the current running of the plant when requested.
- Comply with all health and safety to the highest standard.
- Monitor performance and standards on shift.
- Assist Management and Supervisors with plant running.
- Carry out preventative, responsive and pre-planned maintenance.
- Use CMMS Systems to comply with existing site procedures.
Requirements
- MUST hold either 17th or 18th Edition.
- Ideally hold an HNC, Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- Should have completed an Apprenticeship within Engineering.
- Proven experience within Heavy Industrial Engineering.
- Experience within a Waste, Recycling, Power, or Process plant Facility.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and Controls Systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
Package Details
- Salary is 52,000 a year.
- This role is worked on a 4 on 4 off shift basis, based on 12-hour shifts, Days and Nights.
