Electrician
Location: London Stadium, E20 2ST
Contract Length:3 months
Shift Pattern: Split shifts (07:00-16:00)Some shifts will be from 10:00-19:00.
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, supporting small project works, and assisting the wider maintenance team with a variety of tasks. Due to the nature of the stadium environment, the role requires flexibility in working hours, including weekend and late-night shifts to support events. The majority of shifts will be from 07:00 to 16:00, with some shifts running from 10:00 to 19:00, and there will be a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical maintenance works across the stadium, ensuring all systems are functioning to the highest standard.
- Assist in small electrical projects and installations as required.
- Support the wider maintenance team with additional duties as needed.
- Respond to and resolve any electrical faults, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Ensure all electrical work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Perform regular inspections and testing of electrical systems (2391 or equivalent certification required).
- Complete necessary documentation and reports in line with company and regulatory requirements.
- Attend and support events at the stadium, working evenings, weekends, and late shifts as required.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation and smooth coordination of maintenance tasks.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Current JIB Gold Card (essential).
- 18th Edition Regulations (essential).
- 2391 Inspection and Testing (or equivalent) certification (essential).
- Physically fit and able to perform tasks requiring manual labor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and nights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
