We have an opportunity for an Electrician to join a housing estate team for a local council in Kensington and Chelsea.
This is a static role so no van and fuel card will be provided, as all properties are within walking distance.
Responsibilities:
- Performing a comprehensive range of responsive repairs, maintenance tasks, and planned works.
- Identifying and resolving electrical faults reported by tenants.
- Addressing urgent electrical issues, including power outages, faulty wiring, and safety hazards.
- Installing new electrical systems, such as lighting, sockets, consumer units, and complete rewiring in both occupied and vacant properties.
- Conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and necessary remedial work to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Upholding a professional and respectful demeanour when engaging with residents and housing staff.
- Accurately documenting completed work, materials used, and time spent on tasks using the PDA system.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
- JIB Gold Card (ECS Gold Card)
- Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2018
- Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (2365)
- Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installations (2357)
- Part P Certification (desirable)
