This is a fantastic opportunity for an Engineering (Electrical Bias) Supervisor to join our client on an icon building in South East London. For this role, you will be part of a group managing a large team of well experienced maintenance engineers. You will be responsible for overseeing the team, allocate PPM schedules, assess plan life cycles, work with subcontractors and regularly communicate with the client on any issues.This unique role will have you working on a large commercial property which will offer valuable experience in your career. To be successful in this role, you will need to be fully qualified in Electrical Installations (C&G / NVQ or equivalent + 17th Edition minimum), at least 3 years experience in a supervisor role, a great attitude and experience handling client expectations.Duties:
- Oversee a large team of maintenance engineers
- Ensure your team is following PPM and Reactive maintenance schedules
- Allocate PPM schedules
- Ensure and verify current plant life cycles
- Control and monitor BMS or control systems
- Assist the Building Services Manager in any maintenance or engineering duties
- Regular client meetings - Ensure any outstanding issues are met
- Scope out additional works for your maintenance teams
- Fault find and diagnose any faults on electrical equipment
- Book and liaise with subcontractors
- Respond to any out of hours situations that may occur
Requirements:
- Fully qualified in Electrical Installations (C&G / NVQ or equivalent + 17th Edition minimum)
- At least 3 years experience in a similar role
- Ability to lead a team of maintenance engineers
- Experience leading a team on a flagship site - Desirable
- Polite and personable
- Client management experience
Salary and Benefits:
- £52,000 - £54,000 per annum
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
