Fully Qualified Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair domestic and commercial electrical systems in compliance with BS7671 (latest edition).
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on a wide range of electrical installations.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with the current Health & Safety legislation and Building Regulations.
• Conduct thorough inspections and tests of electrical systems, ensuring compliance and safety.
• Provide high-quality customer service, ensuring a professional and courteous approach when dealing with Borough residents.
• Work independently or as part of a team, ensuring timely and effective completion of all tasks.
• Ensure all electrical work meets the necessary standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, including testing and inspections.

Key Requirements:

• Fully qualified electrician with 18th Edition and 2391 Certificate (or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in both domestic and commercial wiring systems.
• A sound electrical background with excellent practical skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and The Building Regulations.
• Experience in installation, maintenance, and fault diagnosis for all types of electrical installations.
• Strong knowledge of BS7671, with the ability to apply the latest edition in all work.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
• A full, valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
