Our client is a company operating within the water industry seeking a skilled ICA/E&I Electrician. This professional will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and control instrumentation used in water treatment and distribution processes.
ICA Electrician
Job role and responsibilties:
Contracted to 40hrs per week on site hours Monday to Friday.
Paid hourly, with overtime paid. Overtime during the weekends paid at inflated rate.
You will be paid travel time door to door on top of contracted / overtime hours.

All power tools and testing instruments provided.

Assist with and carry out all types of Low Voltage electrical work.

Reasonable understanding of mechanical systems.

NICEIC Testing.
-
Fault finding/diagnostics without drawings and support.

Panel / Circuit modifications without drawings and support.
-
Commissioning of various equipment relevant to the water industry.

Work with Systems Integrator with commissioning and modifications.

Navigate HMI/SCADA systems.
-
Prepare RAMS, ensuring safe working conditions.

Gold ECS card (preferred)

CCNSG Safety Passport

Fitness to work medical

Knowledge of health & safety legislation and company procedures

Willingness to learn and undertake occupational and Health and Safety training

Prepared to take responsibility for self and others

Able to work on own initiative and ability to give and take instruction

Completion of appropriate electrical qualification
Desirable:

Knowledge of:

Ethernet & industrial networks (ie Profibus, devicenet, etc)
VSD, soft start, star/delta, DOL starters
PLC & HMI/SCADA (programming not required)
