We are seeking an M&E Supervisor to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our building maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision & Leadership: Lead a team of skilled engineers and technicians, ensuring efficient delivery of planned and reactive maintenance.
- Technical Expertise: Provide electrical expertise across the site, diagnosing issues, troubleshooting faults, and implementing solutions.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to health & safety regulations, statutory compliance, and company standards.
- Planning & Coordination: Oversee maintenance schedules, allocate resources effectively, and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Act as the first point of escalation for complex technical issues and provide guidance to the team.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and implement best practices.
Ideal Candidate
- Electrical Qualification: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation/Maintenance, or a relevant discipline.
- Experience: Proven experience in a lead or supervisory role within the building maintenance or facilities management sector.
- Knowledgeable: Strong understanding of mechanical systems and general building services is advantageous.
- Problem Solver: Ability to diagnose faults, propose solutions, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with teams, clients, and management.
- Certifications: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and/or Testing & Inspection (2391) certification preferred.
- Organised: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
