Maintenance Electrician

We're looking for a Maintenance Electricianto join a team of engineers working for one of the largest facilities management companies in the UK and across the world working on a role for a client that working on a contract for a well known British Property Development & Investment Company which are featured within the FTSE 250 Index and listed on the London Stock Exchange. This business was founded in London in 1959 and has an annual net income of over 160m with a property porfolio worth over 1 billion. Their ethos is to invest in and strive for a more economical and sustainable living space in the UK.
The company you will be working for are a highly recognized facilities management and real estate business who operates globally with a team of around 8,000 members of staff. Originally founded in 1992 in Milwaukee in 1885 it has gone through many different rebranding since with some old names still operating today. It is estimated this business is now worth approximately $1.3 billion as of 2023.
Within this role you will join a team of engineers delivering multi disciplined planned and reactive maintenance works and delivering the highest level of customer service and delivery to the on-site client. You will be expected to work well within your team and assist where needed outside of your usual working trade.
Key Responsibilities for a Maintenance Electrician:
- Conduct routine maintenance on emergency lighting systems.
- Perform water temperature checks to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs)
- Monitor and maintain the Building Management System (BMS) for optimal performance.
- Undertake light plumbing tasks as needed.
Experience required for a Maintenance Electrician:
- Experience: Proven experience as a maintenance electrician, ideally within a commercial or industrial environment.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of emergency lighting systems,BMS Systems, and general maintenance tasks. Basic plumbing skills are also desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused attitude are essential.
