The Role

We’re looking for a highly skilled and Qualified Electrician to join our busy, field-based team. If you're passionate about delivering top-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance, we want to hear from you!

As part of our team, you'll be responsible for a range of duties including the installation of power and data cabling between comms cabinets and across front and back-of-house areas. You'll also handle minor installations, repairs, and ongoing maintenance to ensure systems run smoothly.

We are particularly interested in candidates with commercial experience, ideally within the hospitality and retail industries (e.g., pubs, restaurants, service stations, retail outlets). This role involves travel across various sites, with some overnight stays. You should be comfortable with a flexible work schedule and be prepared to work within a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Typical Hours:
Scheduled between 08:30 - 17:30, though shifts may extend between 06:00 - 21:00 depending on customer requirements.

Overtime, Company Car, and Fuel Card provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical & Data Installations: Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs for electrical systems and data cabling (CAT5e, CAT6).
  • Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and provide responsive electrical support for both scheduled and reactive tasks.
  • Oversee routine maintenance and repair operations across a range of commercial sites, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards.
  • Safety First: Work in line with all health & safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Documentation: Complete job sheets, signoffs, and electrical certifications upon completion of work.
  • Surveys & Reports: Conduct site surveys, and provide clear, accurate feedback on findings.
  • Customer & Team Communication: Engage with customers professionally, manage work schedules, and liaise with line managers and other contractors.
  • Field Expertise: Bring your experience working in hospitality and retail environments to help meet the unique needs of each site.
  • Problem Solving: Think on your feet, prioritise tasks effectively, and work well under pressure.

  • ECS Gold Card (Essential)
  • 18th Edition (AMD2) Qualified

  • Previous commercial experience, particularly within the hospitality and retail sectors.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
