One of my leading clients are seeking a skilled and proactive Building Services Maintenance Electrician to join their dedicated on-site maintenance team at a prestigious flagship building in the heart of Central London. This high-profile site demands exemplary standards of maintenance and professionalism, providing an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to showcase their expertise in electrical compliance, with ample opportunity for career growth within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks on electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
Conduct reactive maintenance and fault diagnosis on electrical components, resolving issues efficiently to ensure minimal disruption.
Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and is conducted to BS7671 wiring regulations standards.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, including updating logbooks and completing job reports on the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Assist with the maintenance of other building services systems (e.g., HVAC, fire alarms, emergency lighting, and generators) as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Work closely with the onsite maintenance team and external contractors to ensure the smooth running of the building.
Participate in meetings and planning sessions with the client and management team.
Respond promptly to emergency situations such as power outages and critical equipment failures.

Requirements:

NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installations
City & Guilds / EAL 18th Edition
City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection (desirable, though not essential)
Understanding and experience of commercial maintenance/installation
Strong knowledge of BMS controls
