Maintenance Electrician – Ongoing Temp Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team on an ongoing temporary contract in the City of London, working on large commercial buildings. This is a great opportunity to secure consistent work and expand your experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Overview

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance tasks across large commercial properties, ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Perform regular inspections, servicing, and testing of electrical systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
Reactive Maintenance: Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
Minor Installations: Carry out small electrical installations, upgrades, and modifications.
Emergency Lighting and Fire Alarm Testing: Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to site safety procedures and risk assessments at all times.
Collaborate with Other Teams: Work alongside other maintenance staff and contractors to complete tasks and maintain site standards.

What We’re Looking For:

Level 3 Qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
Experience working in large commercial buildings, ideally in a maintenance capacity
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and organisational skills
