We are seeking a skilled Technician to assemble, test, and rework high-complexity electromechanical radar systems for maritime applications. This hands-on role is crucial to ensuring the highest quality standards in the production of advanced marine navigation products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, test, and rework electromechanical radar equipment to precise standards
  • Work with engineering drawings, schematics, and detailed procedures
  • Perform soldering, wiring, crimping, drilling, and PCB rework
  • Assemble wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and connectors (IPC/WHMA-A-620)
  • Inspect and troubleshoot products to ensure quality compliance
  • Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process improvements
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety standards

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in engineering or manufacturing
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of radar systems or cellular manufacturing (advantageous)
  • Must be able to pass security clearance (5 years UK address History, Right to work, 3 years consistent employment references (to current date)

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing, walking, and bending throughout the day
  • Manual handling/lifting as part of daily tasks
