We are seeking a skilled Technician to assemble, test, and rework high-complexity electromechanical radar systems for maritime applications. This hands-on role is crucial to ensuring the highest quality standards in the production of advanced marine navigation products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, test, and rework electromechanical radar equipment to precise standards
- Work with engineering drawings, schematics, and detailed procedures
- Perform soldering, wiring, crimping, drilling, and PCB rework
- Assemble wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and connectors (IPC/WHMA-A-620)
- Inspect and troubleshoot products to ensure quality compliance
- Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process improvements
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety standards
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience in engineering or manufacturing
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of radar systems or cellular manufacturing (advantageous)
- Must be able to pass security clearance (5 years UK address History, Right to work, 3 years consistent employment references (to current date)

- Standing, walking, and bending throughout the day
- Manual handling/lifting as part of daily tasks
