Position: Electronics Design Engineer
Location of Office: Finchley
Location of work: 4 days in Office 1 day WFH
Salary: Up to65,000
The Role: Our client, a well backed, fast growing start-up in the sports technology sector, are now looking to add an experienced Electronics Engineer to join their team to work on the development of their next generation of products.
Their engineering team is made up on a multidiscipline team of likeminded people including sports scientists, electronics engineers, mechanical engineers and software developers and they are looking for Electronics Engineers who are keEn to work as part of a team whilst taking ownership over their own time and workload.
Responsibilities:
- Work through the full electronic design process of our next generation of products.
- Take ownership of sections of our new products, developing solutions to our unique challenges.
- Tackle complex technical problems with a balanced mix of analytic and hands-on approaches.
- Develop new ideas and clearly communicate them with the rest of the engineering team.
- Support the pre-compliance analysis and testing of new products.
This role will suit electronics engineers who are passionate about technology and keen to develop state of the art hardware to allow people to gain more insight into the live sports sector. You will be keen to be part of a team and be motivated by working on a variety of projects with the chance to contribute throughout the full lifecycle.
Skills and Experience:
- PCB design and schematic capture - Altium ideally
- Digital and analogue circuit design
- Experience through the entire product design process
- Proficient with test equipment (oscilloscope, dmm, logic analyzer etc)
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience working with products including RF (GPS, BT, UWB).
- Experience in a smaller company or start-up environment
- Experience designing digital, battery powered electronics around a microcontroller.
