JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Electronics Technician / Engineer who has good electro-mechanical and diagnostics skills with previous experience working on instrumentation.

Working at customer sites, as the Electronics Technician / Engineer you will provide service, repair and calibration on both a contract and non-contract basis to customers on a large number of products.

As the Electronics Technician / Engineer you will be working for one of the foremost independent service companies in the UK, who pride themselves on having retained most of their contracts since they first started business in 1994. Their customers include mainly Universities, Hospitals, Research Institutes and Private Sector Labs.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the Electronics Technician / Engineer you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience of working on instrumentation
  • Excellent diagnostic skills
  • Ideally have a recognised electronics qualification along with good mechanical skills
  • Be computer literate
  • Be enthusiastic and have a desire for learning new skills
  • Have a full driving licence
  • Have good organisational skills
  • Have excellent communication skills
