Recruit 12 has an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Engineer to join a start-up business and contribute to the development of some groundbreaking products, where you will be a founding member of the business. This has the potential to become the next technology unicorn & giant.
You will be transforming the workstation by building products that create significant improvements in productivity through innovative thinking and technologies. The mission is to revolutionize the full spectrum of the human-to-machine interface with cutting-edge solutions which aren't just 'next generation', but a completely 'new generation'.
You will design and deliver high-quality electronic systems throughout their complete life cycle. You will capture requirements, design solutions, and turn them into fully functional products, systems, or prototypes for operational use. You will work on emerging technologies across all human interfaces with technology, including vision, touch, and sound, bringing magic to life.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small, collaborative group alongside the founders and operates with a sense of urgency and passion for building industry-leading innovative products.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own electronic and power systems, from simple relays for lights and switches to fully integrated SoCs
- Design analogue and digital hardware
- Phat client hardware development which acts as a remote gateway
- Develop and prototype electronic systems for primary human-to-technology interfaces such as displays, touch, audio, and video
- Produce test specifications and accurate reports by extensively testing systems and devices to understand performance and reliability
- Keep up to date with emerging technology to constantly push the boundaries of what's possible and innovate around the integration of our components as well as third-party components
- Manage and ensure the use of best-in-class tools to enable high-quality rapid prototyping and development of ideas
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Analogue and digital hardware design
- Schematic capture and PCB layout
- Strong understanding of electronic systems for human interfaces (e.g. vision, touch, audio, video, etc)
- Able to produce detailed test specifications and reports
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for emerging technologies
DESIRABLE (NOT ESSENTIAL)
- Firmware/embedded software development
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
