Architectural Technician Job in North London

We currently have an Architectural Technician job that offers the chance to be part of a highly regarded architecture practice where you'll play a crucial role in delivering beautifully detailed, high-end homes. If you thrive on creating designs that truly reflect clients' visions, this could be the perfect fit for you.

A long-established architecture practice based in North London, the team of 6 specialise in residential architecture across North London boroughs and surrounding areas. Known for their exquisitely detailed, bespoke homes, they build strong relationships with clients to deliver not just houses but homes with timeless and rich designs. They are currently looking to add an Architectural Technician to join the team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed working drawings and technical designs for bespoke residential projects, using AutoCAD as the primary tool
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications
  • Work closely with architects and other team members to ensure designs meet all regulatory and planning requirements
  • Attend site visits and provide technical support throughout the construction process
  • Work with a small, close-knit team to deliver high-end residential projects on time and within budget
  • Coordination with contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working as an Architectural Technician within a residential setting
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Experience working on planning applications and detailed design for residential projects
  • Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning policy, particularly within London boroughs
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a small team and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
