We are looking to recruit a Senior Electrical & Controls Technician, who will be tasked with providing both support and resource to ensure continued efficiency within the manufacturing process. The successful applicant will need to showcase both their management skills and hands on ability.

Responsibilities of the Senior Electrical & Controls Technician:

  • Make sure all engineering work is carried out in an effective and efficient manner. This will be in accordance with health & safety legislation, manufacturing practices and company standards.
  • Supporting shift engineers with controls and electrical fault diagnosis, breakdowns and repair of equipment. Where needed supervising any major works.
  • Assist with the site continuous improvement maintenance strategy.
  • Provide support, ensuring effective controls and engineering management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, ensuring daily engineering priorities have been correctly resourced.
  • Have a positive impact to the change management process, driving the engineering culture.
  • Complete in depth handovers between shifts.

What we are looking for in the Senior Electrical & Controls Technician:

  • Relevant electrical engineering qualification.
  • Excellent knowledge of Controls, PLCs and Automation.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
