Cloud Security Engineer (DLP SC Clearance) Remote UK to £70k

Are you a Cloud Security Engineer with expertise in Data Loss Prevention (DLP)?

You could be progressing your career at a leading European technology consultancy that have close links with Microsoft.

As a Cloud Security Engineer you'll join a small team and provide subject matter expertise on DLP, taking ownership of designing, implementing and managing DLP solutions across cloud environments (Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP) to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorised access or data leaks. You'll pro-actively monitor, identify and mitigate potential risks related to data loss, unauthorised access, or data breaches, collaborating with IT and security teams to integrate DLP solutions with existing security frameworks and tools.

Location / WFH:

Following a remote interview process you can work fulltime from anywhere in the UK and will collaborate with colleagues across the UK and Europe.

About you:

  • You have expertise with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) including hands-on experience with tools such as Microsoft Information Protection, Symantec DLP, Forcepoint or McAfee DLP
  • You have a strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices across Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • You have a good knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and compliance within cloud environments
  • You have experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools and encryption technologies and are proficient with SIEM, CASB and Endpoint Protection solutions
  • You have strong analysis and problem solving abilities
  • You're collaborative with great communication skills
  • You're degree educated in Information Security, Computer Science or closely related discipline
