Cyber Security Engineer

A global Financial Services client is undergoing a global transformation programme and Cyber Security is a key driver to their growth, due to this they are looking to hire a Security Engineer, reporting to the Head of Security.
The client is looking for a confident, experienced, and pragmatic individual to join the global infosec team and to focus on securing their cloud (primarily AWS).
This role requires hands-on experience with cloud providers, familiarity with DevOps practices, and proficiency in enabling teams of developers to deploy and run applications on reliable platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
- Design, implement, and secure defaults for our internal users, including IAM, SCPs, Secrets Management, Logging, Monitoring
- Document cloud infrastructure designs, patterns, and configurations so they can be effectively adopted
- Partner with Cloud, Technology, and Development teams to implement and maintain secure configurations, guardrails, and alerts for our cloud environments
- Deliver using efficient, reliable, and scalable methods including automation, testing, and monitoring
- Collaborate across the business to remediate security issues and risks
- Lead and coordinate response to security incidents, investigations, and alerts
Excellent package on offer, this is an onsite role in the office 5 days a week.
