Cyber / Security Engineer / Testing / AnalysisPerm Cyber Security Engineer opportunity, hybrid working, London based, salary up to £70k + bonus & benefits. KEY DUTIES:

  • Assist in the on-going cyber security system support and third party integrations
  • Cyber Security reporting and analysis
  • Daily Cyber Security BAU checking and validation activities
  • Assist with the IT security penetration test remediation

THE ROLE:The Engineer will work within a team focused on ensuring effective cyber security procedures are in place across the company and the syndicates. You will own cyber / security related tickets, compliance and security checks of IT systems, identify infrastructure and security related risks and escalate appropriately. You will also assist on IT projects, implement and help progress them to completion. THE CANDIDATE:The successful candidate will have a strong background in cyber security engineering working in a regulated (preferably insurance) industry. You will demonstrate strong technical expertise in firewalls, security related products such as EDR, analysis tools, network analysis tools, pen testing and security analysis methods. Other technical experience includes Windows Server, Linux, VMWare ESX, excellent understanding of securing Azure Cloud deployments, hub and spoke, policies, firewall, vnets, NSGs, peering and virtual machines.THE CLIENT:Global insurer
