Brand new opportunity for a Data Protection Automation Engineer for our client who are a multinational information technology services and consulting company.

Location: Remote

In this role, you will:* Design, develop, test and support automation for the data protection services within the bank.* Design, develop, test and support reporting and monitoring capabilities for the automation.* Provide engineering support on the bank's data protection products and their standard usage.* Undertake product evaluation, new features, and versions.* Produce clear and comprehensive documentation for all automation produced.* Mentor less experienced members of staffTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:* 10+ years development experience with multiple languages, including Python, Bash* 5+ years' experience in configuration management and orchestration using Redhat Ansible* 5+ years' experience in configuration management and orchestration using Puppet.* 5+ years' experience in designing, developing, and testing Rest API services.* 5+ years' experience in Devops SCM tooling, GitHub* 5+ years' experience in Devops CI/CD tooling, Jenkins, CloudBees* 5+ years' experience in Devops collaboration tools, Jira, Confluence* Strong technical background in Veritas NetBackup and related infrastructure* Strong technical background in Commvault and related infrastructure
