IAM Security Engineer
Central London (3 days per week in office)
80,000 - 90,000 per annum

This business has recently secured $62M in funding to divest from its former parent company and run as its own entity. As such they are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer (specialising in IAM) who will be responsible for implementing a number of technologies to improve IAM across this global business.

The Security team benefits from the arrival of a new changemaker CISO who has a history of running a greenfield programmes and creating high performing teams. With their recent investment, this is a business who are taking security seriously and investing in appropriate tooling for their teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate at a highly technical level and implement changes quickly in adherence to both the business' policies as well as wider frameworks for example ISO, SOC, NIST
  • Own the process for taking and re-engineering fixes, including the technical design documentation, raising the change and then implementing this
  • Assist and review various policies architecture and standards
  • Be working in Microsoft House so have the ability to work across the enterprise E5 suite
  • Conduct various security assessments on a regular basis to mitigate risks
  • Keep abreast of the changing threat landscapes.

Skills/Experience:

  • Have strong Microsoft Azure and E5 experience
  • Ideally have used Entra or Okta before (other IAM technologies may be considered)
  • Be proficient in at least one Scripting language for example eg Perl, Python, Powershell
  • Have hands on experience implementing security controls for example database security, vulnerability scanning
  • Experience with cybersecurity tooling for automation.
