My Client, one of the most robust internal cyber security teams in the UK, are looking to bolster there state-of-the-art CSOC and bring in a genuine Cyber Defence Specialist to help lead the technical function.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced cyber security specialist to join an industry leading team and get exposure to an enormous volume of nation state sponsored attacks daily, acting as technical lead in one of the most advanced internal SOC capabilities in the world, whilst being given an incredible platform to excel your career with opportunities to climb up the ladder or explore more cyber security paths!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a lead and technical escalation point for all critical information security incidents.
  • Utilise internal and external resources to proactively research emerging threats, vulnerabilities and threat intelligence on various adversaries and attack methods.
  • Collaboratively work with the wider cyber defence team to recommend ways to develop automated processes.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience working in an advanced SOC function as technical lead across multiple functions.
  • Practical experience responding to major cyber-attacks, nation-state sponsored attacks and ransomware investigations.
  • Experience acting as a technical coach and mentor to junior analysts and uptraining them in a multitude of growth areas.
