We are looking for a remote sales manager with experience in SaaS B2B sales in the cyber security and data privacy field. You will have a solid understanding of the needs of customers and how to engage them at all stages in their journey and be able to identify the buying personas of our product. You will be able to handle objections fluently, deal with complex sales, bring in business and convert leads. An expert at navigating complex organisations to identify the decision-maker and pitching, you will be a highly skilled negotiator.

IT Governance has developed an industry-leading SaaS offering, CyberComply, that helps mid-market organisations streamline and cost-effectively manage their multiplying and complex GRC (governance, risk management and compliance) activities, while building cyber defence in depth. This role is remote.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with decision-makers through appropriate mediums, with proactive management of key accounts;
  • Developing and maintaining a pipeline (lead generation via cold calling, email sequencing, event participation and networking) of quality sales opportunities, qualifying them in accordance with agreed criteria;
  • Initiating creative tactics, campaigns and strategies for the team to reach target prospects, improving the sales cycle and increasing conversion rates;
  • Achieving company and individual objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analysing performance data and making accurate forecasts;
  • Reporting weekly and monthly on progress against targets, with input into annual and monthly revenue budgets and forecasts;
  • Delivering demonstrations of CyberComply, that youve got up to speed with quickly, in an engaging and creative manner;
  • Managing your teams performance and carrying out performance reviews;
  • Line managing customer success managers; and
  • Recruiting team members.


To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • A significant level of?experience in sales and/or account management, preferably in a senior sales role;
  • A proven track record of consistently delivering high levels of success in B2B sales within the cyber security and data privacy market;
  • A high degree of tenacity, drive and motivation to succeed within sales management;
  • The ability to set, meet and exceed KPIs and performance goals;
  • Experience in leading and managing a team of sales professionals;
  • Experience in CRM management (preferably Salesforce), sales processes and sales pipeline reporting;
  • To be bottom-line oriented, budget-conscious and metric/measurement driven;
  • A natural ability to build and maintain rapport with a diverse range of buyers;
  • A proven creative and customer-centric approach to landing new opportunities;
  • Outstanding communication capabilities across all channels, with the ability to build rapport with everyone you meet;
  • An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities; and
  • Knowledge of the cyber security and data privacy market and SaaS solutions on offer.


You may have:

  • Key account management experience;
  • Detailed subject matter knowledge information security and cyber security standards, privacy regulations and frameworks, and governance, risk and compliance frameworks; and
  • Experience of management system implementation projects.

Remuneration: £65,000 p.a. (discretionary commission scheme), depending on experience.
Basis:?Full-time, permanent.
Location: Remote within the UK with occasional travel for industry events and to meet with customers and partners.
