Security Operations Engineer required by an established asset manager in London going through a complex and exciting business transformation. They are growing their security teams and require an experienced Security Operations Engineer with strong programming and public cloud experience.
As a security operations engineer you will sped 50% of your time building SecOps tooling and 50% of your time being deployed into various engineering teams ensuring appropriate monitoring and alerting is in place before new applications / platforms are deployed.
Salary: Up to £130,000 + strong bonus + benefits.
Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite per week in central London.
Security Operations Engineer Requirements:
- 5+ years experience
- Experience with DevOps / DevSecOps.
- A background in software engineering. You should have experience writing production level code. We are open to the languages you may have used (Python / Java / Rust / Go etc)
- Experience working with public cloud platforms, ideally AWS.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code
- Strong experience building SecOps tooling to automate manual processes.
- Strong knowledge of the MITRE attack framework
- Outstanding communication skills

- Experience in a regulated environment
- Strong Python skills
- Experience with Terraform
- Experience with Kubernetes
