Location: London. This is a Hybrid role working onsite 3 days per week.
Salary: Up to £130K + Exceptional Bonus and Benefits
Security Operations Engineer required by one of the UK's leading investment firms in central London. Security Operations Engineers will come from a strong software engineering background prior to moving into a DevSecOps / Security Engineering role.
You will be joining a brand new security operations division being built and therefore have the opportunity to make a big impact. You will spend 50% of your time building central SecOps tooling and 50% of your time deployed into the various engineering teams in the business ensuringmonitoring and alerting is in place.
Security Operations Engineers will have experience in a cloud native environment, ideally working with AWS. You will come a strong software engineering background, working with modern programming languages. Those with Kubernetes experience are highly desirable.
Security Operations Engineer Requirements:
- Strong experience in DevSecOps.
- A background in software engineering, working with modern programming languages.
- Experience in a cloud native environment.
- Strong knowledge of SecOps tooling and automating detection and response (SIEM, SOAR, TI).
- knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Desirable
- Python or Rust.
- AWS.
- Terraform.
- Kubernetes.
- Experience in a regulated environment.
