We are looking for an experienced Senior Cyber Security Engineer to oversee and enhance the security of our clients' critical infrastructure. As a Senior Cyber Security and Network Engineer for OT, you will play a pivotal role in protecting our clients' industrial control systems and machinery from cyber threats. Your expertise will ensure the secure and reliable operation of systems that are essential to public welfare and safety. This cutting-edge solution requires an engineer with the ability to adapt and occasionally think creatively when deploying our custom equipment, necessitating the ability to reverse engineer various networked equipment, including but not limited to routers, firewalls, and network switches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead security assessments and audits at industrial sites to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • As a Senior act as coach and mentor of junior staff.
  • Design and implement security measures tailored to OT environments.
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of security devices and software in industrial settings.
  • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures specific to OT.
  • Conduct training sessions for site personnel on best security practices.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure a cohesive security posture across IT and OT domains.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management on OT cyber security matters.
  • Troubleshoot networking and connectivity issues with both ISP's, ADSL, Satellite providers and Cellar providers.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Perform site assessments and vulnerability assessments using networking and security tools such as Nessus, Wireshark.
  • Document site information for the configuration of bespoke hardware.
  • Deploy hardware, ensure connectivity, and coordinate with the to ensure everything is in order.
  • Collaborate with the SOC team to ensure correct device reporting.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in cyber security and network with a focus on OT environments ( Focus in OT Not Mandatory, good to have).
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial control systems ICS/SCADA and its protocols ( Modbus, DNP3, etc..) (Not Mandatory, good to have). ,
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring staff.
  • Relevant networking certification(CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA).
  • Relevant Cyber Security and Firewall certification (CEH, OSCP, CHFI, CCSA, CCSE, FCA, FCP etc..)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel to various industrial sites around Europe is mandatory
  • A valid driver's licence and passport are mandatory
