Scope of Role

As an Employee Relations Advisor, you will support the ER specialist and lead on employee relations and case management within the region. This role involves working closely with HR Business Partners, Centres of Expertise, and Administrators to ensure policies and procedures related to employee relations are effectively implemented.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy, Change, and Stakeholder Management: Implement effective employee relation strategies aligned with business goals and values. Support employees in restructuring processes, including TUPE in and out. Identify employee-related trends and propose solutions.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance on employee-related issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, and long-term sickness. Resolve conflicts and advise on formal processes with discretion and sensitivity. Investigate and resolve employee issues fairly and timely. Coach line managers to enhance team performance.
  • Collaboration: Deliver training to up skill line managers and drive positive employee relations.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in performance, disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and general employee relations issues.
  • Strong understanding of local employment legislation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software and ideally knowledgeable in HRIS D365 and Power BI.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification.
