Our client is recruiting an Employee Relations Advisor to become a part of their dynamic HR team. The successful candidate will be part of a global consultancy that spans five continents, offering a truly international experience. This role, based in the heart of London, offers a competitive salary ranging from £50,000 - £55,000

What you'll do:

As an Employee Relations Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the ER specialist and leading on employee relations within the region.

  • Support the ER specialist and lead on employee relations / case management within the region.
  • Work closely with the HR Business Partners, Centre of Expertise, and Administrators to ensure policies and procedures relate to employee relations.
  • Enhance the relationship between the company and its employees, ensuring compliance with local labour laws.
  • Recognise employee related trends in the business and identify areas of success and improvement using data and insight.
  • Provide guidance and advice to employees and managers on any employee related issues including, disciplinaries, grievances and long-term sickness.
  • Support the business in resolving matters of conflict at the earliest opportunity.
  • Investigate and resolve employee related issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Deliver training to upskill line managers to drive positive employee relations.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Employee Relations Advisor role brings a wealth of experience in handling performance-related issues, disciplinary actions, grievances, absence management, and general employee relations matters.

  • Proven experience advising on performance, disciplinary, grievance, absence management and general employee relations issues.
  • Strong understanding of local employment legislation.
  • Proficiency in software such as Microsoft and ideally knowledge of HRIS D365 and PowerBI.
  • Strong communicative skills, both written and verbal.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
