We are working with a boutique recruitment agency, based in central London, who specialise within Investment Banking and Hedge Funds.

Due to their growth, we are looking for two trainees to join their team and learn how to recruit in this industry.

You will start as a resourcer and be trained how to find candidates within DevOps and Software engineering for the agencies large banking clients. Your role will be to support the more experienced recruiters, who will in turn be able to focus more on business development and client management.

In turn, you will have a strong and lucrative career in Financial Services Recruitment, all started off with exceptional training and support. This will be followed by a progression structure that will take you from resourcer through to senior management level, with huge opportunities for career growth.

The role and responsibilities:

• You will utilise resources such as Linkedin to find candidates for the clients.
• You will engage with these candidates in a professional manner that represents the agency and its clients.
• As this is a supportive role, you will follow the direction of the more senior recruiter about which candidates to approach and gain interest from.
• You will understand the profile of the candidate you need to find and ensure you are providing the recruiter with candidates who fit the scope of what they are looking for.
• You will take time to research the industry to create a solid understanding of space that you are recruiting in to.
• Using your analytical mind, you will match the skill sets required by the client, to the candidates you are searching for.

Are you our ideal candidate?

• Most importantly, you must have an interest within Financial Services & Investment Banking.
• You do not need to have recruitment experience, but you have of course, that is great too.
• Ideally you will be a graduate / trainee from the Financial Services industry.
• You will need to have an analytical mind, and able to pay real attention to detail when hunting for candidates within DevOps or Software Engineering for the clients.
