HR Business PartnerLondon (Office-based, Permanent)£50,000 p/a + BenefitsA large, well-established, multinational organisation with interests spanning multiple industries is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support both operational and strategic people initiatives across its UK headquarters and regional sites.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a complex, people-centric business and make a real impact through hands-on HR partnering, driving change, supporting leadership teams, and embedding best practices in employee relations and organisational development.Key responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers on a range of complex HR matters, including employee relations, performance, and organisational change.
  • Lead and coordinate restructuring and transformation projects, ensuring alignment with employment legislation and internal frameworks.
  • Provide expert guidance on disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and capability cases, often acting as a key support during formal hearings.
  • Prepare and manage responses to employment tribunal cases, liaising with legal teams and ACAS where necessary to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with management to implement wellbeing and engagement initiatives, while also developing tailored interventions for specific teams.
  • Take ownership of evolving HR policy, guidance, and best practice - ensuring the business is future-ready and people-first.
What you'll need:
  • Strong experience advising on a broad range of HR and employee relations issues in a large, multi-site or complex organisation.
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment law with the ability to manage risk effectively and make balanced decisions.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting performance improvement and change management initiatives.
  • Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills, comfortable working at pace and influencing senior leaders.
  • Strategic mindset with pragmatic execution—able to see the big picture while handling day-to-day HR issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general HR systems.
