In this role, you will be delivering a high quality, customer focused recruitment and appointment service, supporting the Human Resources team and wider business to deliver against its objectives.
Main accountabilities:
- Contribute to the team’s achievement of its objectives through the delivery of an effective recruitment and appointment process.
- Provide customer focused guidance and support to people managers and employees.
- Acting at all times in accordance with relevant policies and procedures, ensuring customer satisfaction and best value are achieved
- Support the Recruitment Advisor/Lead Recruitment Advisor in coordinating all recruitment administration for employees and temps from the advert stage to interviews and appointment so that the process is timely, fair and consistent in line with service standards.
- Place adverts on relevant media and monitor progress, resolving any issues. As required manage your own portfolio of vacancies, short listing, interviews, assessment centres and appointment of selected candidates and all processes linked to this.
- Provide feedback to candidates as required.
- Develop a detailed understanding of the business areas you are supporting, understanding the competitive market space, the key suppliers of recruitment services in that area, be able to suggest to hiring managers key job boards and publications that can support hiring initiatives.
- Support the development of attraction approaches for relevant business area to ensure quality applications for our current and future requirements.
- Working with others - internal - build strong relationships with hiring managers and wider members of the HR team.
- Records and systems - Maintain and manage usage of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and act as the main point of contact for manager queries in your business area. Update iTrent records as required.
- Ensure business compliance within post holders control. Remain up to date with current, relevant legislation and best practice within Recruitment ensuring that HR policies are applied consistently across all areas.
Knowledge/Skills Required:
- Ability to demonstrate delivery of customer focused recruitment/administrative coordination service in a complex, multi-disciplined commercial environment -
- Strong organisational, analytical and presentational skills
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to partner people managers, building effective and sustainable relationships across diverse management teams
