Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead end-to-end recruitment operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality talent acquisition at a senior level.
  • Oversee and develop redeployment initiatives, ensuring fairness and efficiency.
  • Leverage Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to enhance recruitment workflows and improve the candidate experience.
  • Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and influencing skills.
  • Use recruitment analytics and insights to improve hiring strategies and retention.
  • Lead a high-performing team, fostering innovation and collaboration.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications:

  • Essential: CIPD qualification.
  • Desirable: Recognised recruitment certification (e.g., REC).

Experience:

  • Essential:
    • Proven recruitment experience within a Local government
    • Understanding of redeployment processes and initiatives.
    • Expertise in ATS systems and recruitment technologies.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience managing recruitment teams and delivering process improvements.
    • Experience driving successful redeployment programmes.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and other recruitment-related tools.
