As demand for world-class data centre infrastructure continues to grow across Europe, the US, and beyond, we are expanding our team to support operators, developers, and engineering firms in building and managing cutting-edge data centres.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Recruiter to lead our efforts in winning new clients across the data centre design, construction, and operations sectors.

Role Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for winning new business from global and regional data centre operators, real estate firms, and engineering companies. Your primary focus will be to identify key decision-makers, develop client relationships, and deliver tailored talent solutions that support our clients' data centre needs. You will provide expertise in sourcing professionals for roles in design, build, capacity engineering, procurement, and facilities management to help clients develop, operate, and expand their data centre operations globally.

Key Responsibilities:

- Client Acquisition: Identify and approach potential clients within global and regional data centre operations, real estate, and engineering sectors, securing partnerships to expand WNTD's footprint.

- Tailored Talent Solutions: Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs, developing customised talent strategies to ensure they have access to the right talent at the right time, especially for time-sensitive data centre projects.

- Market Expertise: Use insights from WNTD’s data centre market reports, including salary trends and hiring challenges, to provide clients with strategic advice on workforce planning and talent availability.

- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with data centre developers, engineering firms, and facilities management teams, ensuring WNTD is seen as a trusted partner for their workforce needs.

- Talent Sourcing: Collaborate with internal teams to source and deploy specialist professionals, including engineers, procurement specialists, and facilities managers, to deliver successful outcomes for our clients.

- Networking & Sales: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote WNTD’s talent solutions, and use proactive techniques to build a robust client base.

- End-to-End Client Management: Oversee the entire recruitment process, from initial engagement to contract negotiation, ensuring clients receive seamless service and ongoing support.

What We’re Looking For:

- Proven Business Development Experience: 3+ years of experience in business development within the data centre, commercial property, or engineering sectors, focusing on securing new clients in technical and operational fields. Targeted skill sets include data centre design, construction, capacity engineering, procurement, and facilities management.

- Global Client Acquisition: Proven experience working across multiple geographies, particularly in Europe and the US, with the ability to win clients and grow market presence.

- Client-Centric Approach: A proven track record of building long-term client relationships, developing tailored talent solutions, and achieving measurable business growth.

- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the data centre lifecycle, including design, construction, and operations, with the ability to consult on workforce challenges and solutions.

- Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and present WNTD’s talent solutions effectively.
