Talent Acquisition Specialist - Health & Social Care - £33k to £44k (DOE) - SE London
An experienced internal recruitment specialist is required by this not-for-profit, award winning, company which supports people with housing and assisted living. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for recruitment across all roles and departments, varying from Care, Hospitality, Management, etc. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will meet the needs and expectations of hiring managers by building and maintaining talent pools for Front-line and Administration departments, coordinating interviews and carrying out HR compliance checks. Responsible for establishing and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement across all talent acquisition activities, responsible for full recruitment life-cycle, ensuring that recruitment strategies and processes operate to consistently high standards.
SALARY ETC:
- £33,000 to £44,000, depending on experience.

- The contracted hours are 9am - 5:30pm Office-based to start with, however after probation, the role is subject to flexi-time and hybrid working (Weds and Thurs from home). The earliest start time is 8am and the core hours which must be worked each day is 10am - 4pm.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Business related qualification, either vocational or academic.
- 3 years' experience in talent acquisition, managing the full recruitment cycle and administration (Internal Recruitment role experience)
- 1 year recruitment experience in the health & social care sector.
- 3 years' experience managing an ATS or CRM system.
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to multitask.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of the organisation and internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Aware and confident of recruitment legislation and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Self-motivation, with a sales mindset/competitive spirit.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
- Create and keep updated the Recruitment Handbook, to standardise the recruitment process, outline policies, map procedures and assists in managing the recruitment process.
- Streamline and manage the whole process throughout the recruitment journey.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs in all departments.
- Source candidates using a variety of methods
- Build talent pools and pipelines for all roles in order of priority as guided by CEO or HR for current and future hiring needs by sourcing candidates and conducting initial phone screens
- To minimise staff shortages by maintaining talent pools and carrying out pre-onboarding checks.
- Ensure candidate queries are responded to in a timely and efficient and professional manner.
- Screen external job applications, adhering to selection requirements stipulated by hiring managers, and organise or undertake phone screens using the applicant tracking system.
- Liaise with recruitment agencies about hiring needs, coordinating and undertaking phone and in person interviews for their candidates.
- Maintain and keep updated the preferred supplier list of recruitment agencies.
- In collaboration with HR create job descriptions and interview and screening questions for each role
- Organise and attend recruitment Open Days and other recruitment events
- Arrange or undertake phone or in person interviews for all departments and hiring managers
- Understand legislation in relation to recruitment, ensuring that the recruitment process is compliant.
- Carry out right to work checks on a new joiner’s first day.
- Assist with HR audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational requirements.
- Assist with facilitating and coordinating learning and training in collaboration with the L&D Lead.
- To carry out Pre-employment Onboarding such as sending offer letters to successful job applicants etc.
- To carry out candidate reference checks.
- To carry out DBS checks for all new starters and periodically thereafter upon expiry for new and existing staff.
