Cobalt is working alongside one of the UK's most prestigious real estate developers and landlords as they search for a Technical Systems Engineer, specialising in fire and security systems.
The Technical Systems Engineer will join the Central Support Services team, working collaboratively to ensure our properties are managed in compliance with regulatory requirements, current standards, and industry best practices.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Conduct audits of Fire Safety manuals and logbooks, documenting records and identifying defects.
- Prepare and revise maintenance specifications for specialist sub-contractor contracts.
- Review system designs and propose amendments to meet occupier needs.
- Support system alterations for Fire Alarms, Security Systems, and System Networks.
- Audit maintenance contractors and sub-contractors as required.
- Collaborate with Technical Services Managers on fit-out procedures for Fire Alarms and Security System interfacing.
Although these aren't mandatory, having experience within the below areas will certainly be desirable:
- Installation and maintenance of Access Control Systems
- CCTV Systems
- Intercom Systems
- Electronic Security Systems Networks
- Vehicle Barriers and Speed Lanes
