Responsibilities:As the Community Safety & Corporate Resilience Manager, you will:
- Lead projects to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes in community safety initiatives.
- Manage the Council's Emergency Planning & Corporate Resilience Team.
- Develop partnerships with local agencies to reduce crime and enhance public safety.
- Oversee the preparation of performance reports and monitor service delivery.
- Provide expert advice on community safety legislation and policies.
- Coordinate responses to critical incidents and community safety issues.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Strong understanding of crime reduction and community safety legislation.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a community safety or corporate resilience role.
- Proven project management skills and experience in budget management.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to produce detailed reports.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective partnership working.
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Experience in multi-agency working and community engagement.
- Familiarity with emergency planning frameworks and best practises.
- Relevant qualifications in public safety or emergency management.
Technologies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with data analysis and performance monitoring tools.
