Job Title: IT Business Architect

Location: Central London – Onsite

Employment Type: Full-Time + Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic IT & Business Alignment:

Develop and maintain IT business architecture framework, ensuring alignment with institutional strategy
Identify opportunities for leveraging technology to improve academic and administrative operations

Enterprise Architecture & Solution Design:

Create companywide IT solutions that improve the use of technology, integration, and connection
Ensure compliance with policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Work with IT teams to develop roadmaps for system modernization and digital initiatives

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:

Engage with various stakeholders to gather IT and business requirements
Facilitate comunication between business users and technical teams to translate needs into functional solutions

Technology & Process Optimization:

Evaluate existing IT systems and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience
Support data governance, security, and compliance initiatives in collaboration with IT security teams
Identify trends and emerging technologies that could benefit the company

Project Management & Implementation:

Lead and support IT projects from conception to deployment, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
Develop business cases for IT investments, including cost-benefit analysis and risk assessments

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education & Experience:

5+ years of experience in IT business architecture or a similar role
Must have previous Higher Education experience

Technical & Business Skills:

Strong understanding of architecture frameworks
Proficiency in business process modelling
Familiarity with ERP, CRM, LMS, and other university-specific enterprise applications
