Business Central Developer - 12 month FTC
We are working with a brand new client who are a leading force in their commercial space. They are one of the world's most renowned brands in the sporting world.
Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled ERP Business Central Developer to join our dynamic ERP team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, and implementing solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform. This role requires a strong understanding of business processes, a passion for technology, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative and cross team environment. This role is a temporary position to cover maternity leave within the team.
Responsibilities
- Develop, and implement custom solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain integrations with other systems (e.g., EPOS, e-commerce platforms).
- Customize existing functionalities and create new features within Business Central.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code with appropriate logging and alerting mechanisms
Required Skills / Experience
- 3+ years of experience in developing with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly known as NAV/Dynamics NAV).
- Strong understanding of C/AL or AL development languages.
- Experience with web services (REST, SOAP) and integrations.
- Knowledge of version control software (e.g., GitHub)
- Knowledge of business processes within retail, finance and supply chain
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach to work.
- Knowledge on Atlassian products (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
