D365 Lead Engineer to c90k + Benefits + Bonus

London/hybrid - 3 days a week onsite

We're on the lookout for a D365 expert to play a pivotal role in helping this exciting and fast growing but complex organisation, comprising 50 different operating companies, on their digital transformation. This person will play a pivotal role in defining and executing enterprise-wide Application solutions with a specialisation in ERP solutions (Dynamics 365) and will create as-is and to-be roadmaps and investment levels. You could already be working with businesses to design solutions or be a senior developer who is keen to progress and move into an architecture/design role and to work with businesses to design ERP solutions.

Working with other Architects withing the organisation (Finance, HR and Integration Architects) you will work across the organisation to understand their ERP requirements with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.

You will be responsible for:

  • Running feasibility studies and make recommendations for technology and vendor selection related to enterprise business applications.
  • Working closely with other architects to ensure the enterprise application architecture solutions are scalable, secure, and offer benefits to the business and therefore encourage adoption by the individual companies.
  • Driving adoption of enterprise software best-practice principles and solutions across the group, with the goals to aid strategic growth, increase simplification, reduce implementation times, and lower costs.
  • Leading the adoption of new solutions across the digital transformation programs
  • Be the global subject matter expert of the enterprise architecture and its constituent solutions, especially ERP on Manufacturing, Finance, CRM, Integrations and data.
  • Define and configure group-wide policies with regards to the application architecture landscape.
  • Work with partner organisations, vendors and service integrators to deliver on the key technology initiatives.

Role prerequisites

  • 5-10 years of experience in developing or designing ERP systems and related capabilities (order to cash, order to fulfil, record to report, treasury mgmt., purchase to pay, accounts receivable, acquire to retire and capital expenditure)
  • Strong functional knowledge and understanding of MS Dynamics 365 ERP
  • It is likely you will have worked in a smaller consultancy environment or have experience of working with smaller businesses/start-ups
  • Experience assessing technologies and vendors offerings in areas such as MS Dynamics 365 modules (ecommerce, CRM etc).
  • Experience in a delivery-orientated Technology environment using the agile methodology.
  • A proven track record of successful implementation of several solutions within client companies.
  • Experience working within a software delivery environment using Agile methodologies and tooling, such as Azure DevOps.
