Enterprise Architect - Remote (UK Based) - Perm - £100,000
The Role
Method has partnered with an advertising company who is looking to hire an Enterprise Architect as they are about to embark on a multi-year modernisation programme.
As Enterprise Architect, you will be working alongside the CTO as the number one technical visionary. You will work as part of a new team who will be leading the transformation and will be tasked with designing a new IT estate that propel the company into the modern age.
The role is remote-first and although UK based, you be given the freedom to work across the EU. There will be occasional travel required to London and European locations.
The vision is for the Enterprise Architect to evolve into a CIO and have ownership over future long term technology decisions.
This role will be best suited to people who enjoy leading change and are looking to move up in their career. There will be a 3-stage interview process.
Your key responsibilities
- Design and lead the architecture strategy, defining the architecture tooling strategy and blueprint
- Working on specific architecture initiatives and deliverables such as defining cross divisional target-states
- Contribute to defining the strategic digital architecture framework and building of a digital architecture governance
- Leverage architecture data to improve our architecture decision making
- Produce high quality architecture reporting that become a standard/ guiderail across Architecture of the company
- Encourage better ways of working, embedding architecture and design into our culture. Working across other architecture functions refining how we do architecture in the firm aligned to optimised ways of working
Your skills and experience
- Experience in collaborating with stakeholders to document current states, develop target and transition architectures and resulting business & technology roadmaps
- Experience in architecture governance including defining and assessing compliance to architecture principles
- Summarising complex architecture / design related challenges in simple terms for senior management consumption
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks.
