We are looking for experienced and dedicated Cardiac Scrub Practitioners to join our theatre teams in leading private hospitals across London. This role involves assisting in complex cardiac surgeries, ensuring a safe and efficient surgical environment while delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled scrub assistance for a range of cardiac procedures, including CABG, valve replacements, and minimally invasive heart surgery.
  • Prepare and maintain sterile surgical instruments, equipment, and theatre environments.
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to ensure smooth procedures.
  • Adhere to strict infection control and patient safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with consultants, anaesthetists, and multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cardiac surgical techniques and advancements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Scrub Practitioner in cardiac surgery.
  • NMC or HCPC registration (RN/ODP).
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac surgical instruments and procedures.
  • Excellent teamwork, attention to detail, and communication skills.
