Description

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

  • To assist the Head of Centre in the management of the human, financial and physical resources to deliver day-to-day educational, childcare, health and recreational provision at a Children's Centre.
  • To act as the nominated on-site Safeguarding contact.
    • Under the direction of the Head of Centre to support the day-to-day management aspects of service provision at a particular location in the borough of Ealing.
    • Ensure the premises and staff operate according to the recognised health and safety guidelines and Council procedures.
    • Ensure the Centre maintains a safe, secure and enjoyable environment for all children and their families who use the facilities and services.
    • Assist with marketing and promoting the Centre's facilities and services, as directed.
    • Support the day to day work of staff at the centre and giving support and day to day supervision.
    • Implement staffing schedules to ensure coverage of the activities programme, as directed by the Head of Centre
