Our client is a distinguished global leader in the property and real estate sector, possessing substantial expertise in the delivery of energy and sustainability strategies across their client's property portfolios. Energy Management is a key part of their value proposition to clients, and they are now seeking an experienced Energy Manager to join their team.

As an Energy Manager in their business you will be responsible for helping clients such as commercial property landlords and occupiers meet their energy consumption and carbon emission targets. You will provide both hands on/tactical, and strategic advice to develop energy saving initiatives and solutions, along with providing accurate carbon/energy reporting, and advice relating to energy/sustainability compliance/legislation.

Duties will include.

Delivering feasibility studies, calculating savings and payback, and submitting proposals for Energy/Carbon reduction for Energy/Carbon reduction type projects

Developing Energy/Carbon reduction strategies.

Providing Energy and Carbon monitoring/reporting and analysis

Utility Bill Validation.

Providing up to date advice on clients legislative and statutory compliance.

BMS/Controls strategy to help reduce Energy usage.

Post holder qualification requirements and Qualifications

Candidates can come from various backgrounds such as Energy Consultancy, or Energy Management, and ideally should have a HND, Degree or Masters in an engineering subject matter (i.e Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, Energy Engineering, Renewable Energy). Most importantly the role involves lots of client interaction and stakeholder management so you will need good people/"soft skills" as part of your skills repertoire.
