Allen & York are thrilled to be working with a leading global provider of consulting and engineering services.

Our client is looking for a self-motivated Geo-Environmental Consultant to join the Geo-Environmental & Mining Business Unit. Working alongside other geo-technical specialists, you'll collaborate with the planning, environment and engineering teams, delivering holistic solutions to a wide variety of clients.

You'll need to hold a degree in geology, engineering geology, hydrogeology or other relevant environmental science discipline. Ideally with a Master's degree, you'll be working towards Chartership with a relevant body such as CIWEM or IEMA. With comprehensive consultancy experience, you'll have an understanding of current contaminated land technical guidance and be confident in managing and supervising ground investigation on site, including groundwater and ground gas monitoring. With knowledge of current practice and governing standards/guidance for the investigation and remediation of contaminated land, you'll be experienced in producing Phase 1 geo-environmental desk top study reports and Phase 2 interpretative reports. An excellent communicator, you'll have strong social and interpersonal skills and enjoy working as part of a team.

You will require a full, clean driving licence for this role.

Any specific site works accreditations/qualifications held would be advantageous, such as SMSTS, SSSTS or CSCS.
