We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior or Principal Sustainability Consultant to lead our efforts in Whole Life Carbon (WLC) and Embodied Carbon assessments. In this role, you will collaborate closely with architects, developers, and project teams to embed sustainable practices from concept through to post-occupancy, ensuring our projects meet the highest environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead WLC and Embodied Carbon assessments across diverse projects.
* Develop and implement sustainability strategies that align with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with architectural and multidisciplinary teams to integrate sustainable solutions into building designs and provide comprehensive advise on material selection
* Stay abreast of industry trends, standards, and best practices to inform project approaches.
* Mentor and support junior consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in conducting WLC and Embodied Carbon assessments within the built environment.
* Strong understanding of current sustainability standards, certifications, and regulatory frameworks.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
* Proficiency in relevant software tools and methodologies used in sustainability assessments.
