Senior Sustainability Consultant

Allen & York are excited to be working with a pioneering Building Services and Sustainability consultancy, providing innovative, sustainable design solutions within the construction and real estate sectors.

Our client is looking for an experienced, highly motivated Senior Sustainability Consultant to manage a variety of sustainability projects both internally and externally, whilst guiding and training less experienced team members.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality sustainable designs, development of sustainability strategies for buildings and leading on planning documentation and other similar documents.

You'll need to have extensive experience in environmental design, including sustainability benchmarking, building energy optimisation, daylight & shading design, sustainable systems, materials, waste and building physics. With experience of writing planning applications for Energy, Sustainability, Circular Economy & Life Cycle Analysis, you'll be confident in undertaking Energy Modelling and overheating analysis for domestic and non-domestic projects. An excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills, you'll be a strategic thinker and effective problem solver.

Experience and knowledge of BREEAM projects, parametric and generative modelling, LCC and LCEA, Revit and Passivhaus design would be advantageous in this role.
