Morgan Law is proud to be partnering with a prominent and forward-thinking public sector procurement team in London to support the growth of its procurement function.

This is a very well-known institution - they've achieved steady and consistent growth across their portfolio of operations over the last few years and they are on a mission to achieve Net Zero by 2040.

We have a position available for someone with experience developing and implementing sustainable procurement practices and social purpose initiatives to support the ESG goals of large multi-site organisation. You'll be passionate about supporting a culture of best practice principles and you'll have the ability to work effectively with a diverse stakeholder group to champion engagement and bring them along on the journey to Net Zero.

About you

  • You will be a highly motivated individual, passionate about best practice procurement and committed to delivering results with high precision and accuracy.
  • You will have strategic procurement experience, ideally from within a public sector procurement setting.
  • You will be a proven influencer who naturally builds rapport and is comfortable developing strong relationships internally and externally with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • You will have expert-level negotiation skills with experience negotiating high profile contracts.
  • You will ideally have, or be working towards, MCIPS accreditation.

This is a Procurement Lead position with all sustainability initiatives and workstreams to be channelled through this person.
