Main Responsibilities as an Environmental Compliance & Carbon Lead

  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to environmental legislation, including ISO 14001, ESG reporting, and UK government schemes like ESOS & SECR.
  • Drive Carbon Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of the Carbon Reduction Plan to meet net-zero goals.
  • Champion Sustainability: Act as the environmental expert, advising teams and promoting green initiatives across the organization.
  • Manage Waste Systems: Oversee waste management processes, hazardous waste disposal, and reporting to improve environmental impact.
  • Analyse and Report: Collect and evaluate environmental performance data, identify key opportunities, and present findings to stakeholders at all levels.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Must have experience in the following
    • Manage the company ISO 14001 Management System and audit qualification
    • Global Net Zero Strategies
    • Environment, Social Governance
    • Carbon Reduction Plans
    • Management of Waste Systems
    • Energy management Plans
