Main Responsibilities as an Environmental Compliance & Carbon Lead
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to environmental legislation, including ISO 14001, ESG reporting, and UK government schemes like ESOS & SECR.
- Drive Carbon Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of the Carbon Reduction Plan to meet net-zero goals.
- Champion Sustainability: Act as the environmental expert, advising teams and promoting green initiatives across the organization.
- Manage Waste Systems: Oversee waste management processes, hazardous waste disposal, and reporting to improve environmental impact.
- Analyse and Report: Collect and evaluate environmental performance data, identify key opportunities, and present findings to stakeholders at all levels.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Must have experience in the following
- Manage the company ISO 14001 Management System and audit qualification
- Global Net Zero Strategies
- Environment, Social Governance
- Carbon Reduction Plans
- Management of Waste Systems
- Energy management Plans
