They arelooking for an estimatorto join our team and help lead our projects to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for restoration, conservation, and refurbishment projects.
- Analyse tender documents, specifications, and drawings to provide accurate pricing.
- Conduct site visits to assess work requirements.
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure budgets are maintained.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best pricing.
- Prepare and present final bids to clients.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Estimator, ideally within the restoration or conservation sector or refurbihsment/high end packages.
- Knowledge of heritage projects, building materials, and traditional construction methods.
- Strong understanding of the pricing and procurement process.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong numeracy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
